These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of genshinimpactmap.com ("the site", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

The site is a free, fan-made interactive map and guide for the game Genshin Impact. It shows the locations of in-game items, lets you track what you have found in your own browser, and provides pages for regions, realms and items. No account is needed. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we may suspend or stop the site without notice.

2. Not affiliated with HoYoverse

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by HoYoverse (miHoYo). Genshin Impact and all related names, characters, maps, images, icons and other game content are trademarks and copyright of HoYoverse. They are used here only to help players find content in the game. All rights to that material remain with HoYoverse.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the site only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You must not:

copy, scrape or download the site's data, pages or images in bulk, or republish them as your own service;
send automated traffic that places an unreasonable load on the site or interferes with other visitors;
try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or the systems it is connected to;
introduce viruses, malicious code or anything else that could harm the site or its visitors;
frame the site or present it in a way that suggests it is your own or endorsed by you;
click advertisements artificially or encourage others to do so.

Search engines and AI assistants may crawl and reference the site as permitted by our robots.txt file. Linking to any page of the site is welcome.

4. Intellectual property

Apart from HoYoverse's game content and the community contributions described below, the design, text, code and compilation of the site belong to us. You may share links and short quotations with a link back to the source. You may not reproduce substantial parts of the site without our written permission.

Pin positions and categories come from the public data of the official HoYoLAB interactive map. Notes and screenshots attached to pins were contributed by HoYoLAB community members; they remain the work of their authors and are shown with attribution. If you are the owner of any content on the site and believe it is used improperly, email us at [email protected] with the page address and details, and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it promptly.

5. Accuracy of information

We work to keep the map accurate and up to date, and we refresh the data regularly. Even so, game content changes with every patch and the source data can contain mistakes. The site is provided for general guidance only. We do not guarantee that any location, count, note or other information is complete, correct or current.

6. Your saved progress

Progress you track on the map is stored only in your own browser. We do not keep a copy, so we cannot recover it if it is lost, for example after clearing your browser data. Use the Export feature to keep your own backup. You are responsible for any file you import.

7. Advertising and third-party links

The site is free because it shows advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. Advertisers are responsible for their own ads, and an ad on the site is not an endorsement. The site also contains links to other websites and loads some images from HoYoverse's servers. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, products or services. How advertising partners use cookies is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability or freedom from errors or harmful components, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or any information on it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it is used. It forms part of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

12. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect, and the unenforceable part will be applied as closely as possible to its original intent.
